We need volunteers in the following areas:
Sponsorships & Partnerships: Responsible for forming and sustaining great relationships with companies in order to gain product donations, monetary donations, and partnerships. Also, this committee is responsible for creating the donation campaign at the end of every year. It will be maintained throughout the upcoming year.
Programs: Creates program materials, surveys, and mentor’s schedule for the year. This committee works with the Programs Chair to ensure that everything runs smoothly and may help to facilitate sessions with young girls and teenagers.
Events: Responsible for event logistics such as planning and coordinating events. This committee also collaborates with partner organizations for events along with participates in the fundraisers that are held by the program. This committee with also solicit funds to support events that will support the programs mission, vision, and goals.
Community Service: Responsible for setting up monthly community service projects for the young girls and teenagers as well as mentors. This committee is also responsible for scheduling monthly activities such as cultural and fun actives for the program’s participants.
Mentorship/ Volunteers: Responsible for setting up mentor and volunteer drives in an effort to get the community involved. Those on this committee will also be responsible for helping assist with trainings for the mentors and volunteers to ensure all requirements are being met. This committee will consist of a Chair and Co-Chair whom will ensure that the mentor logs are submitted on time (by the 5th of the month), and any other information is communicated to mentors.
We are seeking an accountant intern for the 2015-2016. This person should have experience with quick books, budgeting, profit and loss, and reports. Individual with experience in working with non profits would be a plus. Resume's should be sent to email@example.com by May 31, 2015
